To advance fundamental scientific knowledge of landslide mechanisms and their interaction with landslide-debris resisting structures via multi-scale physical and numerical modelling and innovative artificial intelligence (AI) and deep learning-based data analysis.
To educate practitioners and the general public about landslide risk via novel Massive Open Online Courses (MOOCs), which will adopt the latest augmented reality (AR) and virtual reality (VR) technologies to engage students (including practitioners) in a stimulating environment to learn how to combat landslide hazards.
